The AntiPlato…. your brain’s a paste of ignorant waste. at least that was the impression you left. true that you’re obsessive about him though. it means you’ll only see what you want to see and fail to notice him as he really is – an ordinary human being. Dr. House is not Hugh Laurie but just a character played by him. one of many. if you don’t like Family Guy then fine but to say you lost a lot of respect for Hugh Laurie sounds a little divorced from reality. if you respect the guy you should respect his decisions and choices. i don’t believe he was “pressured” into doing the program. unlike you (can you imagine) he likes Family Guy. will you lose all your “respect” for him now if i say that he’s been on the show before? because he has.

and by the way. that South Park reference about FG… the way that you presented it here… erm….do you even get the show? what they’re doing? or do you think that satire and irony are some mythological creatures who don’t really exist? if you can’t be bothered looking further from what you see then what does it make you? ignorant or a know-it-all? whatever’s the case, try thinking a bit. everything’s a lot bigger than they seem.

I haven’t watched it all but I think people have to be reminded that House wasn’t the main character of the show, and that Family Guy isn’t every time a comedy show, it has drama sometimes too and a like House an arc that if you don’t follow since the beggining you may not understand and find it annoying.

I know many people that watched House from the middle and didn’t like because they didn’t understand it… ^^’

hugh’s part was kinda wasted since the episode wasn’t funny at all…American Dad was actually funnier…and i knew Dr House was going to be the swamp monster…that part was cute…

I watched it too and have to agree that HL was great! I’ve never watched Family Guy before and, frankly, probably won’t be watching it as a general rule. HL has a great sense of humor and it seems that this guest appearance was right up his alley!

I agree with Andrea. Hugh Laurie is great as House, but one must remember his earlier work such as A Bit of Fry and Laurie, Jeeves and Wooster, etc. In these shows, Laurie is first and foremost a comedian. He really is a funny guy, which is probably why he agreed to be on Family Guy. I think it’s wonderful because he is a great comedian.

And anyone who thinks Hugh is now “above” a show with “gag writing” hasn’t seen much of A Bit of Fry and Laurie – which was pretty much all gag writing, and one of the funniest shows of its time. Heck even House is pretty full of gag writing if you think about it. He’s GREAT at comedy, and I can’t wait for tonight!!

Actually I have read Hugh loves Family Guy (GY tweeted about that), and I understand it. He is a comedian, so why not. I don’t watch Family Guy on a regular basis, but I’ll definitely watch Hugh’s (vocal) appearance.

I think Hugh appearing on Family Guy is a great thing, it shows his sense of humor, after all it’s a show that makes fun of everything and everyone, and most people probably don’t like that.
And I love Family Guy AND House, MD, what’s better than that? xD
I’ll probably download the episode to watch!
