House fans, I have some terrific news: Hugh Laurie is on the cover the newest TV Guide and is featured in an article inside too. I and here’s a really fun video clip of the photo session:
And in Hugh’s wonderful style, he was so cute when he talked to TV Guide about the show coming back.

“So this is ‘Welcome Back Television,’” says House’s Hugh Laurie. “Is this going to be one of those photos where they have a diagram with an outline of the people and numbers so you can identify everyone?”
…James Denton posts his handwritten suggestion for “Dr. House” on the men’s wardrobe rack: “Hugh Laurie’s first look: Speedos and a mesh tank top.”
The joke barely ruffles Laurie’s shaggy hair. Why plot revenge when he can meet CSI: Miami star David Caruso? “I’ll get points with my son Bill for that,” says the British star, who spent most of his time off in London playing the piano, walking his chocolate Lab, Stan, and watching Dog Whisperer.
Moments later, Laurie gets a trim while Caruso sits in the makeup chair. “This is curmudgeon corner,” cracks the redhead, who spent the strike break playing with his young son and doing promotion for his show in Tokyo.
Not everyone felt [ready to get back to work]. “I’ve rather developed a taste for this not-working thing,” Laurie says with a theatrical sigh. “You think, ‘Next week I’m going to learn Portuguese,’ and then before you know it, the strike is over.” He starts shooting a new episode tomorrow. “I’m going to be very bad-tempered at 10:30 in the morning,” he says.
In other words, right back in character.
That all being said, I also have some mildly bad news that the “copyright patrol” have cracked down on us here at b5media, so I’m not allowed to post any celebrities’ photos that I don’t have specific permission to publish. So all of you wonderful people who have generously sent me scans of the new cover of TV Guide and the articles inside, I truly thank you, but can’t use them myself, I can only link to them elsewhere. But I thank you all so much, and hope you’ll still keep me in the loop with things out there that you spot about the show. I appreciate you all so much!

Ah Lynn we will not got anywhere else… I quite like the format here plus it is a nice community of people… if you have to link outside, well so be it… I do hope you will manage to sort it out soon enough :)

We were threatened with legal recourse by someone, now we are not allowed to post images without the permission of the publication or the network, etc. Not to worry about the show photos and things, we have press access from FOX for those, and our legal team is working on a deal for all the press photos, but it isn’t ready just yet. But unfortunately, some things I’ll just have to link to from now on. I hope you all won’t stop reading! I still try very hard to have the most complete coverage possible.
I don’t want you to all go somewhere else for your news….now I’m sounding pitiful….can you tell this is upsetting?

Oh thanks Lynn that really gave me the giggles first thing in the morning, honestly the mere thought of House and Horatio Cane in the same place at the same time :)
