It's too bad he didn't get to write his own material. The only things I liked in the show were the protest song (which I know he did write) and the opening and I did laugh some at the sketch about the Queen. That was it. Regarding a HOUSE parody, for all we know Hugh may have requested there not be one. I remember when he was on the David Letterman show and DL tried to get him to speak in House's voice and he didn't and seemed really uncomfortable, IMO, at the suggestion. There wasn't even a parody of House. What a bad joke! Even by their now consistently low standards, this was abysmal. One of the season's worst shows! He probably won't admit it, yet, but Laurie must have been not only disappointed, but appalled by the quality of the sketches! Poor Hugh... I'm sure he'd never envisioned he'd droop so low.
