House star Hugh Laurie has a huge fan base all over the world. So it’s only natural that he gets to be a part of a number of ad campaigns. This one, for Schweppes tonic water is an ad campaign he’s been a part of for quite a while now.
Thanks to House fan Peter for the tip about these three new commercials for the product that star Hugh Laurie.
The girl in the third video is Audrey Matos. She is an actress.

Fist Commercial “Schweppes and the cucumber”
Hugh: What are you doing?
Guy: Slicing lemon. It´s what we always put into the Scweppes.
Hugh: I don´t care what we always do (In spanish he says “A mi lo que siempre se ha hecho me importa un pepino” Pepino= cucumber. It´s an expression. I believe you guys have an expression to use when you don´t care what other people do)
Hugh: Schweppes combines with more things that you can imagine. Cucumber & Schweppes.
Voice over: Tonic water Schweppes. Here and now.
It may not be his voice, but if your look at his lips when he is speaking, the movement fits with the language…

Definatly not his voice. And that totally sucks that its in spanish, because I can’t speak spanish.But atleast its him:)
It’s not HL’s voice. It’s the Spanish dubbing voice he has in House MD.
@ Katy: I’m not quite sure. Could be him, given that he’s used different languages back in his “A bit of Fry and Laurie” days. And most people are able to raise or lower the pitch of their voice with some training. Maybe someone will find ou for sure.
How did he get the accent? Or it isn’t him that’s talking…
