With everyone else creating their “best of”, “worst of” and “most memorable” lists of 2009, I thought we House fans could take a different approach. We all know we love the show. And we all know we love the actors who star in the show. So let’s get down to the real knitty-gritty about things so far in season 6, shall we? ;-)
There have been some very fun and some downright crazy plot twists so far this season and I’ve enjoyed every one so far. But I think it would be fun to find out what each of you was the most surprised about so far. What do you think?

Even though Jennifer Morrison/Cameron’s exit was leaked onto the internet, I think the point of this poll is what the most surprinsing plot twist as devised by the writers. For me, and it seems everyone else, that was definitely Cameron’s exit. It seems to make absolutely no sense why they would destroy a popular character like that and leave wholly more unpopular characters still on the show.
And seriously people, Taub and Thirteen returning? We all knew it was going to happen. Those nasty buggers just always keep coming back.
Cuddy sending House on a wild goose chase for Thanksgiving, then getting mad at him for trying to get even with her at Lucas’ apartment :)
For me it is Cuddy giving up on House (hopefully for the time being) and going for the ‘soft/easy’ option of Lucas – betraying House by telling Lucas all that had happened – walking off the dance floor and then cruelly sending him on a 6 hour round trip to an empty house for Thanksgiving. Where did the cruel streak suddenly come from! The Cameron departure was known/hinted about/speculated about for some weeks before shown so not a surprise, although a somewhat strange decision by tptb.
for me it was house saying that he cared for cuddy, because although ive known that since season 1, its house, its not like him to admit it..
but im annoyed that season 6 hasnt even STARTED here in australia, im having to watch all my episodes online because of that
besides cameron leaving im going to give you my top 3
how fast “house” got back to a normal show(honestly i thought itd take more then 2 eps to see house back on cases, no matter if he was reinstated or not; we all know that foreman will go for whatever house says 95% of the time.)
House looking out for wilson at the conference really moved me; we saw a “softer” side of house…kinda nice too =). (also throw in house talking to dad as well in seeing a different side of him.)
Cuddy breaking house’s heart and showing no remorse…cant say much more about that on the internet because I want to keep it pg 13 but, im really disiking cuddy at the moment for doing it aswell.

I agree with you Sandra, I still can’t believe that Jennifer Morrison was “fired”, no matter how TPTB want to spin off her exit.
I think for every long-term House fan (regardless which ship or character you like best) the most surprising (and shocking!) plot twist was Cameron leaving PPTH. TPTB promised fans for more than two years to better re-integrate both Cameron and Chase, and I think it’s hardly surprising that fans were shocked about Jennifer Morrison being fired and Cameron leaving PPTH. None of the other plots were as unexpected and surprising as this was.
