House: Two New Promo Clips

There are things that are brand new in each of these two new promo clips for the season 6 premiere of House. I would suggest that if you are worried about too much information beforehand, you might want to hold off watching them until another time. I’m really surprised at how much FOX is letting out before the premiere!

There’s a new scene with House being held down and a protector put in his mouth to keep him from biting his tongue, much like they use on people having convulsions.

In this one, we see House playing poker with his fellow patients and a scene where he buries his face in a birthday cake.

I agree – they are not putting in a mouth guard, they are checking for pocketed pills – a person can hide pills in their cheek or under their tongue to spit them out later. I’m a nurse too. I’ve heard it called “pocketing” pills.
This part of the clip was in earlier clips too.
All this violence isn’t really surprising to me. The character clearly has never known how to handle or express his emotions.
I surely can’t wait for the premiere! I’m not worried about seeing too much ahead of time. Considering that the promos from last season were mostly misleading, making viewers think that the story was going to go one direction when it went in a completely different direction, I’m not worried about seeing too much so far. I know i’ll be glued to the tv set next Monday evening. I’ve already canceled my music lesson for that night, which for me is a huge thing – I never miss my music lesson. But I’m missing it for this!

As an RN , the staff in the asylum are not putting in a mouth guard and House is not convulsing.
He’s just been pulled off his roommate as he was punching him out and they are doing a visual mouth cavity sweep for drugs. Next is the isolation/locked room with the yelling /banging on the door & then I think the restraints as House is out of control.I suspect the attack on his rommie causes House to realize he has deeper issues than Vicodin.
