Seriously, I just looked at the official winners list at the Emmy web site, and I didn’t see House mentioned once.
Not for Outstanding Drama (which went to 24)
Not even for the three Creative Emmy’s for which it was nominated. (They went to Rome, Grey’s Anatomy, and Boston Legal.)
So it’s the old goose egg for our beloved show. Well, what do the Emmy voters know anyway? They didn’t even nominate Hugh Laurie!

As much as anything, I think the network affiliation plays a major unspoken factor.
Well, these are the same people who gave awards to Everybody Loves Friggin Raymond. So I guess it’s not surprising that they wouldn’t know good TV if it bit them in the ass.
That entire Emmy show was such a scam. Very few of the awards made any sense in terms of rating actual talent. In fact, the following night Larry David (of Seinfeld fame) was on Letterman reading his Top Ten Reasons Why I Didn’t Win An Emmy; #7 “I refused to sleep with Ernst and Young” (the independent accounting firm who tabulates the votes).
Hugh Laurie was sensational though when he accompanied Helen Mirren as a presenter. Quite a funny twist for him to come out speaking French when you’re expecting to finally hear his native British accent!
