Even though Hill Harper did not top the recent hottest CSI guys poll, I know he’s a very hot guy!! ;-)
But, even better, he’s more than that! Hill plays Dr. Sheldon Hawkes on CSI: NY, but did you know that he’s a doctor in real life? He went to Harvard and has two graduate degrees, one is a Juris Doctorate. So, technically, he’s Dr. Hill Harper. NOW does he seem even sexier, ladies? ;-)
And to top that off, one of his pals from his time at Harvard is none other than Senator Barak Obama. They were Harvard classmates at Harvard and used to study together and play basketball.
Prior to joining the cast of CSI, Hill played a doctor on the short-running TV drama, City of Angels. So this isn’t his first TV doctor gig.
He’s also the son of two doctors as well. His father was a psychiatrist and his mother was one of the first practicing African-American anesthesiologists in the US. So he says that when he wants to know about a word in the script that he doesn’t understand, he calls his Mom and asks her to tell him how to pronounce it and what it means.
All of this, and he’s also a best-selling writer! I reported recently about his first book hitting the New York Times bestsellers’ list and winning two awards. It’s true. The man is a true Renaissance man!
Personally, I think Hill Harper is a very cool, sexy and interesting guy. It’s time everybody got to realize that. And we are truly fortunate to have him as a part of one of our favorite shows, CSI.

You are exactly right rachel and lynn. I love this guy so much. he is SO SEXY. I never miss him on Wed. I watch CSI just for him. If I could meet anyone in this world world,it would be this man

I have been fascinated with Hill Harper from the time I saw him in “Park Day” over 10 years ago. I did my research on him after seeing him in that movie and fell in love with him when I found out about his educational background. I have followed his career since that time. An educated man is a “sexy” man to me. It impressed me to know that he made the choice to act when he could be practicing law or working in another industry.

I think that hill harper is what so far I have read.he seems to be a very intelligent person with a thought for children who should today be hear him and others who have been there are around young teenagers girls or guys who have said they made a mistake and yet learned from it and now try to do do. In today’s society that is what needs to.be done,books need to be written and people should help those who are trying to help young adults to learn from our mistakes for there better future. So not only do I applaud hill but everyone who takes a stand with the youth today, there are a lot of kids who have lost there parents at a young age like my four god daughters and need. Extreme attention,love,and guidence so that there love isn’t f

Sorry I have to be that guy. I really hate to but I have to do it. If you have a J.D., you aren’t suppose to use the word “doctor” before your name but the word “esquire” after your name. It’s really weird but that is custom. I wish it wasn’t that way since I just got my J.D., and would love to use the word “doctor” before my name! Sorry to be a stickler though. I know its kind of annoying. I just had to do it. But I do agree that Hill Harper is pretty amazing. I read somewhere that he was on Harvard Law Review. You can’t be on law reviews usually unless you are top ten or fifteen percent of your class. So the fact that he was top ten or fifteen percent of Harvard Law is freaking insane!

I truly admire Hill Harper. I plan to most definately get his latest book titled “The Conversation”. I think more young people should look-up to him as a positive role model. I am so-so- surprised more women especially the MEDIA are not all over him. He is so polished and conservative. I am infactuated with his looks and brains.

Man i just want to say HILL HARPER i have read your wonderful book Letters to a young brother Manifest Your Destiny and when i began to read it i could not put it down i read the whole book in one day in like a couple of hours i got so much out of it to me it was more than a book it answered so many question i have had over the years that not too many ppl could answer but you did and i would love to email you and get to know you more because you are just smart and a very educated guy and i am currently a student at alabama state university GO STATE HORNETS lol and i am a chemistry(forensic science) major and i am ready to tackle all of my challenges that may come iam just excited now bcuz your book has me more confident than i have ever been before
