‘Heroes’ Samurai Princess Joins ‘Reaper’

Eriko TamuraTV Guide recently got wind of some very delicious casting scoop. Eriko Tamura, the talented Japanese actress who played Yaeko, Hiro’s regal love during last season’s tepid feudal Japan plot on NBC’s Heroes, has joined The CW’s fun Devil dramedy Reaper as a series regular.

Tamura will portray Kristin, the daughter of Sock Wysocki’s (Tyler Labine) mother’s new husband, which makes her his stepsister.

But that’s not all. Everybody’s favorite slacker will quickly develop a major thing for Kristin, although his feelings will not be reciprocated. Looks like poor Sock is going to continue remaining unlucky in love, which is a good thing this time around because family members getting it on is always nasty, blood relations or not.

In yet more casting goodness, The District and Save the Last Dance‘s Sean Patrick Thomas will also be making a guest appearance on the series’ midseason premiere. He’ll portray escaped soul Alan, and if everything works out, the gig could become a recurring appointment, something I wouldn’t mind in the least.
