Nicholas D’Agosto, who plays the flying boy West on “Heroes,” has joined the cast of Screen Gems’ teen comedy “Maxim’s Fired Up.”
The 27-year-old D’Agosto (doesn’t he look young?!) will play a high school football player who, with a teammate, bows out of the season to attend cheerleading camp. Yep, you read that right. It’s all part of their grand scheme to score women, which goes horribly wrong when he falls in love.
Eric Christian Olsen, Sarah Roemer and Daneel Harris are also set to star in the film, directed by Will Gluck and produced by Peter Jaysen, Matt Gross and Charles Weinstock. The film starts shooting later this month in Los Angeles.
This is the second Screen Gems project for D’Agosto, who nabbed a role in the ensemble comedy “Maxim’s Mardi Gras,” which follows three college buddies who sow their wild oats in New Orleans. The cast also Josh Gad, Bret Harrison, Carmen Electra and Arielle Kebbel. Filming on this project, directed by Phil Dornfeld, is set to begin in April.
Is D’Agosto busy or what?
