Heroes Creator Promises Changes

dying-of-the-light-adam-thumb And not just of the firing writers kind. Variety reports that Heroes creator/showrunner Tim Kring says there will be a renewed focus on storytelling. Some NBC execs apparently felt Kring delegated too much of the writing responsibilities to fired producers Jeph Loeb and Jesse Alexander. With that not being an option anymore, Kring will have to be more hands on.

Kring has apparently promised a return to good vs. evil themes and more character development instead of shocker plot twists. Even with the significant drop off in Heroes viewership since its first season, it is still the Peacock Network’s highest performing scripted show.

One thing’s certain: the entertainment world is watching the outcome here to see if Heroes can shake itself out of the tailspin.

i have the solutions for the problems with “Heroes” ….go back to a story of two brothers trying to save the world, move its timeslot to 9pm on Thursday and telecast on the CW…
oh wait that would be SUPERNATURAL :)

I have seen a lot of similarities in the shows lately Elaine. Peter and Sylar do remind me of Sam and Dean, but I would prefer to have only one set of the Winchester boys, thank you very much :)

He said he’d fix it last year, I waited, I hoped…and he lied.

LOL, Sonja and Elaine. Thank God… I thought I was the only one noticing these similarities between Supernatural and Heroes. (Supernatural is waaaaaaaaay my favorite one.)

I can’t say that I don’t heart Heroes anymore, I really like this show. I’m curious now to see the changes they’ll do.

all i meant Sonja is that i wish all those viewers disillusioned with Heroes would try Supernatural … in my humble opinion the best show on TV that simply has too few ppl tuning in !
i watched both shows since the beginning and have finally given up on Heroes (and i had really hoped this year would return it to the show i fell in love with S1!)
whereas with Supernatural i cant wait to see where they take me next (yeh there have been a few issues on the road… but i have never wanted to turn it off in fact its the only show where i own the DVDs!)
    long live the Winchesters :)
