Help nickname LOST’s season finale

As Lost fans know, every year the show’s producers come up with a code name for the biggest twist that the season finale delivers. For example, two years ago, the twist that Jack was flashing-forward instead of back was nicknamed “The Rattlesnake In the Mailbox.”

This year, according to TV Guide, the Lost brain trust intends to ask viewers to help name the finale’s big moment. In this Thursday’s expected podcast, Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse will invite you to suggest a code name for this year’s final jaw-dropping moment. (How exactly viewers are supposed to nickname a scene that will undoubtedly be a complete surprise isn’t all that clear.)

But given what we now know about the final episode of Season 5, entitled “The Incident,” at least there’s a place to start. Submissions should be sent to the producers via the Ask Lost submission form; the winning nickname will be announced one week later, in the March 26th podcast. (Personally, I’d wait until after this week’s ‘cast to send in your idea. Just seems polite, since the formal announcement won’t be made until then.)
