Hellboy II: The Golden Army is the second installment of the franchise. After an ancient truce between humankind and the invisible realm of the fantastic is broken, all hell breaks loose. Ruthless leaders above and below the earth begin to battle, and it’s up to Hellboy (Ron Perlman) to set things right. He’s red, horned, and misunderstood, but he’ll get the job done, with help from his expanding team in the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense—firebrand girlfriend Liz (Selma Blair), aquatic empath Abe (Doug Jones) and protoplasmic mystic Johann (played and voiced by John Alexander, James Dodd, and Seth MacFarlane).
Directed by Guillermo del Toro, Hellboy 2 is rated PG-13 for sequences of sci-fi action and violence, and some language. Check out the trailer:
