For those that don’t want to play guitar and also have no desire to pretend to play guitar but still want to rock out on a video game to metal music, then Headbang Hero just might be what you’re looking for. The only complaint I have is they use Survivor’s Eye Of The Tiger in this demo. Slightly head-bangable at first but not a metal song and not something I would get caught headbanging to.
Of course with stupid articles saying that headbanging causes neck and brain damage, this “toy” would probably not get approved for sale for safety reasons. But you do have to laugh at the concept. I’m still not 100% sure that they are serious about this or if it’s just for fun. I just wish they would pick better songs to use. C’mon, Freak On A Leash? By all means, feel free to suggest other songs!
Copyright issues are a pain in the neck (pun intended) but we’re open to suggestions.
Being metal fans ourselves, Korn’s Freak on a Leash was perhaps a (less than) neutral choice and at the same time a song which many people know. Varied rythm, some parts are good for giving your neck a rest, some parts are still full of energy.
As for Eye of The Tiger… it still makes sense as the “easy mode” song. Other choices are possible (I’d say almost anything from Load or Reload makes a good example) but still, Survivor… it’s funny and it has this ubiquitous epicness as the soundtrack of a hero in the making :D

Iron Man would be a great starter…and classic song of course. Master Of Puppets for a medium and Cannibal Corpse Hammer Smashed faced for hard. Lastly Angel Of Death on expert. There is so much potential….but the legal thing would probably hold you back from a lot of great songs.
