Yesterday, IMAX Corporation confirmed that “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” will get a simultaneous IMAX release when it hits theaters on November 21, 2008.
Other upcoming IMAX releases include the Rolling Stones concert film “Shine a Light” on April 4, Speed Racer on May 9, Kung Fu Panda on June 6, and “The Dark Knight” on July 18.

This makes me wish I had taken advantage of the really nice IMAX theater back when I lived near one. I think there’s one around here somewhere, but I doubt it’s as impressive as the one at the Seattle Science Center. I can’t recall ever seeing an actual movie there, just a bunch of things about space and nature.
