That’s right! According to TV Guide, there’s a CSI movie in the works! And even better news is that William Petersen will return to play Gil Grissom in it. Here’s a quote from William about the movie:
“Yes, there will be a movie,” Petersen told Britain’s Radio Times. Although he is sure fans might be “a little trepidatious,” Petersen promises the move to the big screen will not be done haphazardly.
“Usually people leave it till a series has finished —they did that with The X-Files and Sex and the City,” Petersen said. “But it’s about finding the right story, there has got to be a real reason to do it.”
“You don’t just do it because you want to make money — you do it because there’s a story that can’t be told on TV and needs to be told from CSI’s perspective and the audience wants it,” Petersen said. “And we can’t wait for CSI to end or Grissom will be about 90.”
So there you have it, Grissom fans and CSI: Vegas fans! This is truly cause for celebration!
Grisham is and alaways will be the best thing that ever happened to forensic television. He is believable ….. unlike CSI Miami.
Want to see the movie in the worst way….william needs to come back….the few episodes I’ve watched with out him were not good at all….i agree with an earlier comment that william peterson was and is the show.

Definitly count me in. Grissom has to be in it. Hope they bring everyone back for the movie. Even Warrick. I know only way Warrick can come back would be flashback or dream scenes it cam be done. But cant wait till this movie comes out. I really hope they don’t wait 5-10 more years before they do it!
I WOULD LOVE TO SEE A CSI MOVIE. BUT NOT WITH THE SARAH ROMANCE. I THINK THAT WAS A RIDICULOUS PAIRING.

Gil grisholm is a traitor…he left the show and doesnt deserve to share in any CSI movie. Besides…not like the movie will be worth going to..why pay for a moview when its on every week?
Grissom has to come back to vegas!!its not the same without him and i dont like the new guy in it!!like how can you have csi without gil grissom??

I agree with most, I really like Gil Grissom and wish he would come back to the weekly csi, But I don’t really care for sara either. She has a bad personality he would be better with Kathrine.
I was VERY happy when I saw this article. I don’t give a thingy about Sara, seeing as Im a devoted Grillows shipper, but I’d still like to see them both in the movie, it’ll be like old times, maybe they could bring Warrick back from the realms of death? :P

I would most definately go see the movie as long as everyone was in it…ii love grissom and sara..wish warrick could somehow return but that can’t really happen…but ill be happy as long as everyone else is in it

I don’t care for Sara or their romance.. I just have been hoping that she would be bitten by a rabid spider monkey and Grissom comes back to Vegas!!
I would love to see a CSI Movie on the big screen.. with William Petersen as Grissom (of course) starring in it. I would even more love if he would return to CSI every week!

if there is a movie Sara or not I will go see it I miss grissom on the shw and I want to see him back with the team again.
He conceived CSI so I trust him … mostly!
If there is a film then it has to be the old Gil Grissom – no angst.
