A friend of mine clued me in to this monster photo that was taken of her and her husband, called Frankenstein’s Car Troubles.
Justin Hall is the photographer behind these hyper-real images with a liberal dose of humor. I love the fact that even though the images are so heightened they’re unreal, he still manages to capture the essential humanity of all his subjects–monster or not. I’m hoping for more photos in this series, but for now we also have this image–à la Teen Wolf.

Wow those are pretty powerful pictures. I love the derby girl, third picture and the woman in the pink suit. She looks like she’d be a busybody character in a Stephen King novel.
