Ghosts of Girlfriends Past – Preview & Trailer

ghosts_girlfriends_past_posterMatthew McConaughey continues to be one of my favorite romantic comedy stars, and his real-life girlfriend says he (and their new baby) is such a flirt, so I guess the genre is right up his alley.

In "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past," McConaughey plays Connor Mead, a confirmed bachelor and celeb photographer who has no qualms about breaking up with several women on a conference call. While at his younger brother’s wedding, Connor nearly single-handedly ruins the wedding, and gets haunted by not only his hard-partying uncle (Michael Douglas), but also the ghosts of his past, present and future girlfriends. Jennifer Garner plays Jenny Perotti, the one girlfriend who maybe shouldn’t have gotten away.

More after the jump, including stills and a trailer…

As much as the whole Christmas Carol ghosts theme has been done to, well, death, this movie looks like good fun and a great date movie. It also stars Breckin Meyer and Lacey Chabert. It’s rated PG-13 for sexual content throughout, some language, and a drug reference, and arrives in theaters this Friday, May 1, 2009.
