Frances Conroy Joins "Manure"

Frances Conroy — whom I know as Ruth on Six Feet Under because I’m hooked on the show right now — has joined the cast of Manure, the Polish Brothers’ new comedy/satire currently shooting in Santa Clarita.

The movie stars Billy Bob Thornton, Tea Leoni and Kyle MacLachlan, Conroy will play a longtime secretary to the head of a manure business undergoing upheaval. From funerals to manure…she sure gets around, doesn’t she?

Conroy won a Golden Globe for her work in Six Feet Under. Other film credits include The Aviator, Maid in Manhattan and The Crucible.
