Film Preview: The Duchess

Keira Knightly, Ralph Fiennes and Simon McBurney will star in "The Duchess," which is a period piece chronicling the life of 18th century aristocrat Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire (and ancestor of Princess Diana) who, was alternately celebrated and reviled for her extravagant political and personal lives.

I’m not big on these types of movies so I don’t think I’ll be seeing it until it comes to video (or cable).  I am open to changing my mind, however, if upcoming trailers look more interesting.

The Duchess is slated to be released in the fall of 2008.
