"Cloverfield" is generating all kinds of buzz – you might recognize the trailer by its inclusion of a headless Statue of Liberty. ComingSoon.net summarizes the plot as follows: "Five young New Yorkers throw their friend a going-away party the night that a monster the size of a skyscraper descends upon the city. Told from the point of view of their video camera, the film is a document of their attempt to survive the most surreal, horrifying event of their lives."
Sounds like Godzilla, right? I’m not sure if I want to see this one. Not because I’m too scared but because I’ve kind of had my fill with giant monsters descending on New York City. I might change my mind but probably not. Here are some details:

I don’t know what it is but something about this movie is not speaking to me. Watch – I’ll probably cave and go see it in the end, lol. I can’t stay away from movies :)
