Tonight’s the big night! The 81st Annual Academy Awards airs at 8 pm on ABC, and I’ll be live-blogging the event right here on Film Gecko beginning at 6 pm! So stop by and join in the discussion. 2 pm, E!, Countdown to the Red Carpet (240 min.): Awards backstory and early red carpet arrivals.

3 pm, TV Guide Channel, Countdown to the Academy Awards (180 min.): Profiles of nominees, red carpet fashion, and early arrivals.

6 pm, Film Gecko, Live Blog! Stop by and join in as we chat (and snark) about the red carpet arrivals and the awards show itself.

6 pm, TV Guide Channel, Live at the Academy Awards with Lisa and Joey (120 min.): Lisa Rinna and Joey Fatone interview nominees on the red carpet and discuss the fashions.

7 pm, ABC, The Barbara Walters Special (180 min.). Anne Hathaway, Mickey Rourke, Hugh Jackman, and the Jonas Brothers are interviewed on Barbara’s 28th annual Oscar-night interview show.

8 pm, ABC, Oscars Red Carpet (30 min.): Red carpet arrivals and interviews.

8:30 pm, ABC, 81st Annual Academy Awards (180 min.): Hugh Jackman hosts the ceremonies, live from the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood.

11:30 pm, E!, After Party (120 min.): The results of the Oscars are discussed.

12:05 am, ABC, Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Academy Awards (60 min.): Jimmy talks with Mel Gibson, and Robin Thicke performs.
