Lots of buzz surrounding “The Men Who Stare at Goats,” in theaters Nov. 6, 2009. The movie is based on true events as described in Jon Ronson’s 2004 book by the same name.
Ewan McGregor plays a down-on-his-luck reporter who meets a special forces agent (George Clooney), who says that yes, it’s true. There’s actually a secret military unit whose sole purpose is to use paranormal powers for the greater good.
Kevin Spacey, Jeff Bridges, Terry Serpico, and Rebecca Mader also star. No word on whether any goats were harmed in the making of this film (but I’m sure they weren’t!).
THE PRIZE: Two (2) winners will receive an official “No Goats, No Glory” T-shirt and a copy of the book “The Men Who Stare at Goats” by Jon Ronson.
HOW TO ENTER: To enter the contest, simply leave a comment on this post by midnight on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009. Be sure to include a valid email address. Winners will be drawn randomly. I’ll email the winners for their mailing address after the contest ends. Good luck!

Thanks for the giveaway…it is amazing that this is based on actual “research” by our military industrial complex: what a waste of $$$.

I’ve heard the book is better than the movie, and I want to see the movie, so…I guess I’ve got to find the book, too. Winning it would be a nice, easy way to do that.

Yea, I would rather read the book before I see the movie… Yay sweepstakes!
