What is happening to this country? Eli Stone made us laugh, cry, think about our own lives and mortality and just made us feel good. Reality shows cannot take you away from it all and give you a night of enjoyment. Men in Trees was another feel good show. This country needs more shows that make you laugh, especially now! If we are supposed to believe that network TV is for America's entertainment then The head of the network could find a way to appease the throngs of angry viewers it shafted. However, it is not about the viewers, it is about the product placement, the commercials and the ratings. Nielsen is broken, they really have to start to understand that. 81000 names on the pushing daisies petition say that there is an audience for the show, but neilsen cant track tivo, recorded shows, ipod casts, and internet viewers, so ABC gave up on this amazing show and on the American viewing public. I am so disgusted. Im not buying it.
