Family Guy Theme Song

peter griffinYou know, just until, oh, THIS SECOND I was totally misunderstanding the lyrics in the Family Guy Theme Song. That one part where Stewie breaks in? It’s actually “…laugh and cry!”, and this whole time I thought he was saying “…’effin DIE!” Which, actually, would make more sense. Anyway, here’s the lyrics to the Family Guy song:

“Lois: It seems today that all you see is violence in movies and sex on Tv.

Peter: But, Where are those good ol’ fashion values …

All: … on which we used to rely?
All: Lucky theres a Family Guy!
All: Lucky theres a man who, positively can do all the thing that make us …

Stewie: …Laugh and cry!

All: He’s a Family Guuuuuuuuuuuuy!”

Now we’ve all got that song in our heads for the rest of the day.

Glad I’m not the only one who heard “effin”, except I always thought it was “Effin cry!” Though die would make a lot more sense.
