Family Guy schedule for January 2009

UPDATED JANUARY 6, 2009 Now I’m getting new information that “Road to Germany” will be airing on January 25. If this is frustrating to you, believe me, I GET IT. There are conflicting reports of Family Guy’s schedule coming at me about every five minutes.
UPDATED: Just got new information from IMDB, not sure how accurate this is, but I’m still waiting on my Fox contact to get me the official information. Here’s the latest scoop:

1/18/09 Ocean’s Three and a Half

1/25/09 Family Gay

2/8/09 The Juice Is Loose!

2/15/09 Anchorwoman: The Legend of Lois Griffin

2/22/09 Three Kings

3/1/09 Episode 420

??? Not All Dogs Go to Heaven

??? Something, Something, Something Dark Side

Hi Family Guy fans! Hope you all had a great Christmas holiday and got everything you wanted. Here’s the latest from Fox and my own super sleuthing on what we can expect in January:

January 4: No new Family Guy; all four Fox animation shows are pre-empted for a special episode of “24″.
January 11: Again, no new Family Guy due to “24″.
January 18Family Guy due to the NFC Championship game.
January 25: Probably (hasn’t been confirmed yet) repeats of “Love Blactually” and “I Dream of Jesus“.

The following Sunday is February 1, which is Super Bowl Sunday, so obviously we’re not going to get anything new that day. Looks like the first date we can expect a new Family Guy episode will be February 8, 2009.

All the more reason for people to post up phony airdates and plot summaries for unscheduled episodes on Wikipedia to make themselves feel better. I’m an honest editor on Wikipedia, and I edit it a lot, and you have no idea how many times the same people keep doing this.

Hey Ian – do you have a ballpark figure for how may times you’ve had to edit a Family Guy schedule? I’m guessing it’s a LOT. :>)
