Family Guy Nominated for an EMMY!!!

Well, shut my mouth! Family Guy was nominated for an Emmy award in the category Animated Program (For Programming Less Than One Hour; these just came out. This nomination is for the episode “PTV”, aired in November 2005, dealing with the FCC and censorship. Here’s a brief synopsis from my DVD notes:

“In a cave somewhere in Afghanistan, Osama bin Laden and his associates are getting ready to film their next message to send to Americans. A picture of George W. Bush can be seen on a wall. Bin Laden starts his speech, then mispronounces “ramadan” like “radaman”. From this moment on, he can’t stop laughing and has a hard time finishing his message. He starts making jokes when he notices someone he hasn’t seen before. Stewie is revealed and starts to fight everyone. After succeeding, Stewie falls from the cave and lands on his bike.”
