Ernie Hudson Joins Dragonball Cast

 As a fan of Dragon Ball Z, let me say I have extremely low expectations for its live action adaptation. But if there is one man who might be able to save it – well that’s Buffy alum James Marsters, who’s playing villain Piccolo. But if there is another man who might be able to save it, it is Winston Zeddmore himself, Ernie Hudson.

Variety reports Hudson, also known for stints on Oz and Desperate Housewives, has joined the cast of the film now being shot in Mexico. In addition to Hudson and Marsters, the Dragonball cast includes Chow-Yun Fat, Emmy Rossum and Justin Chatman. The movie is slated for an August 15 release. I’m slated to die a little inside 10 mins. after it releases and I have to review it.
