According to Jossip, after actor Heath Ledger’s recent death, Entertainment Tonight and The Insider told the press that they planned to air a video showing Heath Ledger talking about his drug use. Ledger’s publicist was outraged and contacted other powerful PR firms representing many A-List performers. All have agreed to be unavailable for the two shows in the future if they went ahead and aired the video. Among those that would no longer be available to the shows is Emily Deschanel.
I say, good for you!! There’s nothing for anyone to gain by slandering a man once he’s dead and can no longer defend himself. (Except for the shows, hoping to profit…) Let the poor man be. And good for Emily for standing up for what’s right. What are your thoughts? Leave a comment to let us know!

I have always felt that way. I think the lowest thing that the magazines do is to slander the dead. They continue to do it to Princess Dianna to this day and I think if they can’t defend themselves then don’t post it, have a heart, not a greed for money.
Way to go Emily! She is one classy act!
Good on Emily wonderful woman to do that I’m Australian and I’m very sad to hear about Heath Ledger it was a shock to everyone here cos we love Heath.
But yeah I thought it was stupid also for ET to do that preview on the TV just for ratings I believ
Lucky I don’t watch ET cos it’s stupid especially Mary Hart when is she ever going to retire?
It’s good to know that some people still have class in such a classless industry. Bravo, Emily.
True! Emily, you’re the best :D
