Today’s featured giveaway in Jane’s September Contest Slam is a great family film for kids 8 and older:
THE DVD: Bridge to Terabithia, about a boy (Josh Hutcherson) who’s having trouble at school and home, but who’s inspired by the new girl at school (AnnaSophia Robb). She teaches him a few things about the importance of fun and imagination.

Hey! oh my goodness i love this movie. i cried the first time i saw it. how sad.
I have never seen this film, but have heard good things about it. It is kind of a rarity for a family film to have so much complexity than most movies for kids. Plus, any film with Zooey Deschanel is always my cup of tea.
