‘Dirt’ Is Coming

I recently received a very nice promotional package for the FX celebrity-gossip dramedy Dirt. If you’re unfamiliar with the series, it stars Friends alum Courteney Cox as the editor-in-chief of a down-and-dirty Hollywood tabloid called DirtNow.

True to its name, the publication thrives on revealing the always embarrassing and often scandalous secrets that entertainment types devote so much energy to hiding, the media puts so much effort into uncovering, and fans spend so much time gobbling up. You know, stuff like who’s addicted to what and which famous person is doing which other famous person.

Take a look at the Lights, Camera, Mug Shot video clip after the jump, as well as some choice promotional images for the forthcoming second season of Dirt. New episodes get underway at 10pm EST on Sunday, March 2, beginning with the premiere “Welcome to Normal.”

Although Season Two might have shrunk from an originally ordered thirteen episodes to just seven, thanks to the writers strike, what’s left is certain to entertain.
