Dexter’s Julie Benz: Cute as a button on the red carpet

It’s such a testament to Julie Benz‘s skill as an actress that she comes across as almost mousy when she’s on screen as Dexter’s single-mom girlfriend, Rita. A few times now when going through red-carpet photos I’ve had to magnify them to scrutinize her features because the luminous hot blonde in the picture barely resembled the woman I knew from the show.
