Ask and you shall receive. After whining yesterday that we didn’t have any Golden Globes photos of Dexter co-stars and husband and wife Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter together, an eagle-eyed reader pointed us in the direction of this sweet pic of the couple at a Globes after party.

That same loyal reader also shared this great interview with Carpenter from Access Hollywood, in which she talks about her husband’s battle with cancer.
In a quick pre-Globes chat, Carpenter said just a year into their marriage, the two have gotten even closer as they worked together to choose the best treatment for Hall, who recently was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
“I’m just so impressed with him and anyone who’s had to go through it,” she said of the disease. “Every second’s special with him, it sounds corny but it’s true. I’m very lucky.”
Hall, who won his first Golden Globe for Dexter on Sunday, was fortunate to be diagnosed early, Carpenter said. “It’s 98 percent curable, so it’s basically choosing the treatment and sticking with it.”
After two rounds of treatment, the cancer went into remission, she said. “He’s just finishing up to make sure it stays that way.”

I am a huge fan of the show, but let this apart and let me express my deepest sympathy to Michael and Jennifer for the stakes they are facing. I’m sure Michael will come out of his disease and we’ll have many other series of this terrific show! God bless
