I was psyched to learn on Monday that there will indeed be another episode of Desperate Housewives early enough in the New Year for me to remember what happened on the last episode in 2007.
If you follow the dramedy, then you’re probably already in the know about the devastating tornado that swept through normally fair-weather Wisteria Lane, leaving the lives of several main and secondary characters in the lurch. That was on the December 2 episode “Something’s Coming.”

Both Victor, Gaby’s politico estranged husband, and Sylvia, the deranged stalker of Katherine Mayfair’s gynecologist husband Adam, will be kaput. The lives still in question will include that of Gaby’s ex-hubby Carlos, as well as the people who sought shelter in Mrs. McCluskey’s house before it collapsed, namely Lynette’s entire family and neighbor Ida Greenberg.
I can feel the anticipation building up already, and it’s only lessened by the news that this episode might also be the last new escapades we’ll see involving those beguiling Wisteria women until the writers strike finally ends or peters out, whichever comes first.
