They’re not playing around when it comes to stuffing the cast of the TNT pilot Delta Blues with top-notch talent. Shortly after snagging former My Name Is Earl star Jason Lee to star, the potential series has filled three more major roles.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the latest additions are Sam Hennings, Leonard Earl Howze, and Robyn Lively (pictured above).
Hennings, who has appeared twice on TNT’s Saving Grace as the character Joe Hanadarko, is set to play a Memphis cop named Whitehead, who serves as the partner of Lee’s lead character Dwight Hendricks.
Howze appeared in one episode of Lee’s NBC sitcom My Name Is Earl and both popular Barbershop feature films. He’ll portray a currently unnamed detective who collaborates with Dwight and Whitehead on cases.
Finally, Lively is another Saving Grace graduate, having appeared in three episodes as Ham’s now ex-wife Darlene Dewey. On Delta Blues, she’ll portray another ex-spouse, this time caterer Charlene, Dwight’s former wife who’s still in his life because the Memphis Police Department contracts her services.
Stay tuned to learn who will get to play Dwight’s housemate mother. My fingers are still crossed for magnificent Tyne Daly of Cagney & Lacey and Judging Amy.
