The L Word’s Cybill Shepherd has been all over the red carpet lately, especially at events in support of gay rights since her daughter, actress Clementine Ford (also an L Word alum), recently came out.
On Saturday, Shepherd gave the keynote speech at the Human Rights Campaign dinner in Atlanta, where she received an award from the HRC, which named her a National Ally for Equality.
“Mommies and mommies, daddies and daddies — you are the kind of parents this world needs,” she told the crowd.
Last week, Shepherd and Ford turned out together for “An Evening with Women,” a fund raiser for the L.A. Gay & Lesbian center. Christina Aguilera performed at the gala, which was attended by tons of celebs, including Sharon Stone, Jennifer Coolidge and Paris Hilton, who snuggled up to Shepherd ’cause they were wearing the same vibrant shade of red.
