A while back, I let you know to expect a new CSI called Riley Adams to join the team. She’s played by Lauren Lee Smith and this is a little teaser clip to give us an idea of what her character will be like. I think she may be a good addition to the team. What do you think?

I like her, its nice that she is funny, excited about her job, does not worship Grissom, and seems to be her own woman. Unlike Sara who was annoying, dark, depressing, and whiny – Sara who?

Riley is so much more fun to watch than Sara ever was. A much happier person. I was glad Sara left (Both times) and I don’t miss her and don’t want her back ever!!

There seems to be an epidemic in television to kill off a black male character and replace him with either a white or latino female. I know that
CSI elevated the black male cope to primary
status, but I guess it is too much to ask to have two black cast members. I have loved CSI since day one and will continue to watch but this type
of stuff gets old. The new character is irritating as hell. She is that kid in school who looked good but the second they started talking you just wanted to run.
