Happy New Year and New Decade, TNT Report readers! TNT is kicking off 2010 in fine style with a returning rookie series, the midseason premiere of an old favorite, the network debut of a broadcast-television import, and the syndication bow of one of TV’s best shows ever.

That’s right — I’m talking about Men of a Certain Age, Leverage, Southland, and Supernatural. Winter is getting hotter already, so continue reading to learn about all of the fantastic television fare you have to look forward to on TNT in January.
Leverage
The 15-episode second season of the clever caper dramedy Leverage resumes with six episodes left to go. Look for earlier guest star and Star Trek: Voyager veteran Jeri Ryan to return, as well, and hang around until the February 17 season finale. Will definitely be tons of fun, as usual. [Starts on Wednesday, January 13, at 10pm ET]
Men of a Certain Age
TNT’s latest original series Men of a Certain Age continues its freshman season with “Powerless,” the fifth of ten ordered episodes. Although the show has received excellent reviews from critics and viewers, the halfway point finds the dramedy with lower ratings than many thought possible following its impressive December 7 premiere. [Starts on Monday, January 4, at 10pm ET]
Southland
Before viewers get to watch Southland’s brand-new second season, which opens on March 2, TNT will present an encore run of the rookie season that aired on the gritty crime drama’s original home network NBC. Even better, the January 12 pilot episode called “Unknown Trouble” will reportedly have zero commercials to help maximize enjoyment. [Starts on Tuesday, January 12, at 10pm ET]
Supernatural
The incredibly entertaining CW horror series Supernatural starring Jensen Ackles and Jared Padelecki makes its off-network syndication debut on TNT with the pilot episode. As of now, it looks like TNT intends to air episodes in their original order during the drama’s weekday broadcasts from 10am to 11am, and viewers should also stay tuned for inevitable marathons of gooey chiller goodness. [Starts on Monday, January 4, at 10pm ET]
