Chris starts high school, only to learn Ms. Morello (Jacqueline Mazarella) is the new principal (Aaahhh!), and Tonya’s smart mouth irks the customers at Vanessa’s (Jackee Harry) beauty salon after her mother gets her a job there.

The Game — Baby on Board
There’s a whole lot going on here: Derwin informs Melanie that Janay might be pregnant with his child *after* Melanie tells him she still loves him (wonder how she feels about that after the baby mama news); Kelly relies on her snotty parents to keep Jason away; and Malik worries about Tasha learning he has married Robin Givens (he could do worse, so what’s the big deal?). Guest stars besides Givens include Gabrielle Dennis as Janay, Lee Garlington and Don McManus as Kelly’s parents, and the Memphis Grizzly’s Rudy Gay as himself.

Life — Everything … All the Time
On the second season’s second episode, partners Charlie and Dani investigate the murder of a family man who was beaten, tied to a chair, and then left on the bottom of an empty swimming pool. Is it a case of gang violence or just a bizarre party ritual gone wrong? The Knights of Prosperity and Grounded for Life‘s Donal Logue is the new bossman on the fantabulous series. Missing Monk?
