Comedy TV Guide: Fri, Oct 3

Damian Lewis, Donal Logue, Sarah Shahi/LifeFriday-Night Comedy Is Alive and Well

Two CW and one CBS series premiere.

Notable Comedy TV scheduled for Friday, October 3 follows.

All times are Eastern Standard.

Everybody Hates ChrisEverybody Hates Tattaglia
Chris starts high school, only to learn Ms. Morello (Jacqueline Mazarella) is the new principal (Aaahhh!), and Tonya’s smart mouth irks the customers at Vanessa’s (Jackee Harry) beauty salon after her mother gets her a job there.
[8pm-8:30pm | The CW | Fourth-Season Premiere | Sneak Peeks]

The GameBaby on Board
There’s a whole lot going on here: Derwin informs Melanie that Janay might be pregnant with his child *after* Melanie tells him she still loves him (wonder how she feels about that after the baby mama news); Kelly relies on her snotty parents to keep Jason away; and Malik worries about Tasha learning he has married Robin Givens (he could do worse, so what’s the big deal?). Guest stars besides Givens include Gabrielle Dennis as Janay, Lee Garlington and Don McManus as Kelly’s parents, and the Memphis Grizzly’s Rudy Gay as himself.
[8:30pm-9pm | The CW | Third-Season Premiere]

The Ex ListPilot
During a bachelorette party for her sister Daphne, single, 30-something, successful business owner Bella Bloom learns from a psychic that she’s already dated her future husband and has only one year to find him again if she doesn’t want to remain alone forever. That sucks, big time!
[9pm-10pm | CBS | Series Premiere | Sneak Peek]

LifeEverything … All the Time
On the second season’s second episode, partners Charlie and Dani investigate the murder of a family man who was beaten, tied to a chair, and then left on the bottom of an empty swimming pool. Is it a case of gang violence or just a bizarre party ritual gone wrong? The Knights of Prosperity and Grounded for Life‘s Donal Logue is the new bossman on the fantabulous series. Missing Monk? Get a similar fix with this fun crime show.
[10pm-11pm | NBC]
