Classic Movie: "The Thing with Two Heads"

When I was looking for movie information, I came across the trailer for "The Thing With Two Heads" (1972).  I like underground movies and this Blaxploitation gem is a great example – it’s so bad it’s good.  I wouldn’t advise you watch it unless you can have an open mind and a sense of humor.  I must inform you, however, that I’m the kind of girl who likes movies like "Killer Klowns From Outer Space."  Consider yourselves warned.

"The Thing with Two Heads" is about a rich but racist man who is dying and comes up with a scheme for transplanting his head onto another man’s body. His health deteriorates rapidly, and doctors are forced to transplant his head onto the only available candidate: a black man from death row (can you see where this is going?).  It reminds me of movies like "Basket Case" (1982) where the guy carries around a basket with his deformed conjoined-twin brother inside mixed with "Heart Condition" (1990) when a white racist cop receives the heart of a black lawyer that he hates.

It’s funny and ridiculous and even if you don’t run out and rent it, have a laugh by watching the trailer:
