Chris O’Donnell in "Payne"

Chris O’Donnell has signed to star opposite Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis and Beau Bridges in Max Payne, 20th Century Fox’s big screen adaptation of the video game. The film is currently shooting in Toronto for an October 17 release.

Directed by John Moore (The Omen), the action-adventure centers on a cop (Wahlberg) who’s haunted by the death of his family and hot on the trail of some new murders. O’Donnell will play businessman Jason Colvin.

You can also see him in the upcoming Julia Roberts-produced film, Kit Kittredge: An American Girl, in theaters July 2, 2008.
