Carlos Bernard finally answered the question on everybody’s mind… Is he returning to Season 8 of 24?
Carlos reveals, “I’m asked this question on a daily basis, so I might as well answer it. I’ll never say never when it comes to 24. It’s been such a special part of my life and an honor working with all of the incredibly talented people that have helped make the show the success that it’s been.”
He continues, “That being said, I have not been contacted by the studio or producers of 24 about season 8. They’re already well into filming next season and I’m about to start work on a film in South Carolina. So, at this point, I highly doubt that I’ll be involved in the next season of 24.”
Do you wish Tony was returning to Season 8?

well i knew it was going to happen anyway im not happy about it cause im a fan of his character anyway no everyone include are not that thrilled but it does not mean i wont wacht season 8 no matter what

I wish he did return! Even though the new members of the cast are well-known and highily-appreciated actors, I would like to see more of the old cast. Bernard’s character on the show is interesting and it was disappointing the way things turned out to be during the last season.

Ah man… Another season without Tony!?
I was really hoping that Carlos would be back in season 8 considering how things ended with Tony in 7. It broke my heart the way it ended for him.
Does this mean I won’t watch Season 8? No, I definitely still intend to watch every episode just like I have from day one of season one. But I’m going to miss my favorite character dearly.
I truly hope that Carlos makes another appearance in 24 in the future. *sighs and crosses fingers hoping that the powers that be can hear the cries of the fans*

I’m suddenly not as psyched about the new season as I was 2 minutes ago :(
I don’t understand the producers, I mean first they kill off Bill Buchanan and Tony might not come back for an entire season which could be the last. It’s almost as if they’re trying to lose fans or something…
Even if Carlos weren’t telling the entire truth and knew that he was coming at one point (Which I doubt, cause I heard they’re quite secretive about scripts) it’ll probably be for a few episodes at the end of the season. So either way it sucks.

I’m a sucker for rooting for the ‘bad’ guy. Big shame Bernard is not returning. Perhaps they (the writers) can write in a Tony-clone.LOL
