Camille Guaty recently chatted with the New York Post about her upcoming show, Cupid.
During the interview, they touched briefly on Prison Break.
Most fans first discovered you as Maricruz on “Prison Break.” Then another actress replaced you, and then you returned — was that awkward?
Camille: She was a friend of mine, that was the worst part. Basically one day I had to call her and say, “I don’t know what’s happening but they want me to come back.” I was the one to break the news to her since no one told her anything about it.That’s terrible
Camille: I know, it’s one of those tough actor moments.So will Maricruz be back for the series finale?
Camille: You know…I don’t want to give it away.I’ll take that as a yes!
Camille: No, no, no…I don’t want to give away what happens, but let’s just say I’m a little disappointed. It’s not a positive thing.

she was replaced in season 2 but the orignal mari cruz was brought back later that season, this all happened before mari cruz made an appearence that season so eventho they switched actors temporarily it was never reflected on screen

Maricruz Delgado (played by Camille Guaty) is Sucre’s girlfriend. She was orginally meant to be played by Nadine Velazquez. Maricruz becomes Sucre’s primary motivation to escape after he learns that she is pregnant with his child, but is going to marry Sucre’s cousin Hector. In season 2, Maricruz leaves Hector at the alter, and is briefly reunited with Sucre in Mexico, before Bellick chases Maricruz away and lies to Sucre about her whereabouts. In season 3, Sucre discovers his deception, but realizes that he has to stay away from her until he has gotten his life together. In season 4, Maricruz gives birth to their daughter, Lila Maria Sucre.
Haha! Two different Maricuzes and I didnt even notice! Tell me, when did they switch? I must have missed those episode cause I know I’d have noticed if they changed a characters actor, or I was waaaay too tired to watch anyway,

Sounds to me like someone finds Sucre’s body, and they bring her back to give her the bad news?
I think what Camille is saying is that she will not be appearing in the finale.
