I follow Peter Facinelli and he gives little details but nothing that gives anything away really. He'll say things like he's off to fight some wolves in the woods in the rain and to me it actually makes the movie more exciting because I really want to see it.

I also follow David Slade as well and he's been posting some pictures while he directs. The thing is while they're all beautiful shots, you can't see too much, so it just intrigues me more because I want to know what he's filming that has him in a certain location.

There are great ways to use Twitter to promote your movies in unique ways, it's too bad that the people keeping Cameron Diaz and Mike Myers off Twitter don't realize it. :(

(On the other hand, there's also TMI - I'm looking at you Heidi Montag!)

Whew, I'm long-winded after a coffee! :D

That's a good point, Sherry. Having celebs on Twitter and Facebook sort of brings them closer to the fans, and lets us peak inside their lives a little more. I like the idea of a clause forbidding them from talking about their current movie roles (though, as an interviewer, it's always nice to get a little advance scoop!).

I don't know. I think it would be better for them to put a clause forbidding them from talking about their current movie role. Fans really appreciate having their favorite celebrities on Twitter and having them contractually banned could actually hurt them more in the end.
