Next up on David Duchovny‘s freewheeling Californication is the October 5 episode “The Great Ashby.”
The effects of the season-premiere outing linger as Karen lets Hank stew in jail, where he was taken after being arrested for assaulting that cop. While on the inside, Hank encounters another inmate named Lew Ashby (played by Battlestar Galactica‘s Callum Keith Rennie — Woot!), who asks Hank to write his biography. Yeah, right. But, for whatever reason, Lew still bails lazy Hank out of jail.
Potentially even funnier, Charlie gets the heave-ho from his job after Dani shows the president a choice selection of footage featuring Charlie having a very, very good time with himself in his office. Ughhh.
The two sneak peeks following the jump, Silent Treatment and Talent, show Hank getting a jailhouse visit and Lew making that unwelcome book request.
Californication airs Sundays on Showtime at 10pm EST.
