Bye-Bye Bionic Woman

A source close to TVGuide has reported that Bionic Woman staffers were given their walking papers late last week. Not surprising really, as the series never really found its niche, or a producer who could stay for more than a few episodes it seems.

Want to know why Bionic Woman failed?  I can show it to you in pictures.  It failed because there was too much of this:

And not enough of this:

NBC has apparently not learned any lessons from this because all signs are pointing to the dismal “Knight Rider” getting picked up as a series for the fall season.  Can The A-Team and Miami Vice be far behind? (Cyn runs off singing a chorus of “everything old is new again. . “)

    WHAT?????

    The cancelled Journeyman?????

I wasn’t even worried about that AT ALL as that was the best show on the air last year. I was ready to refuse it as another quantum leap/daily paper show but they approached it in new and different way and made it very interesting.

It was the BEST show on last year topping House and even SG Atlantis. Why in the world would they even consider cancelling it????

Jericho is suffering now without mom and dad in it, that cut a lot of the relationship web assunder, but the first season was great. I hope this season is as good somehow without dad in it.

But to cancel Journeyman? that’s nuts…. Now I am upset….

I had such high hopes for this show, but it just wasn’t to be. How many of these remakes have to fail (L.A. Dragnet, Bionic Woman) before they give original shows like Journeyman and Jericho a decent shot?

This one was borderline for me. I watched them all but I was close to giving up on it twice.
