I was beyond jealous when I saw Twitter blowing up about the VHS promo copies of Ti West’s The House of the Devil. It seemed that only a few sites were privy to the gorgeous, over sized clamshell that had VHS junkies like myself foaming at the mouth. Well this morning I just about wet myself after picking up this tip at Fear of the Dark–the VHS is now available for purchase in a VHS & DVD bundle!

In case you missed out on the film, get up to speed with my review about Sam (Jocelin Donahue), the college cutie who is so desperate for cash that she accepts a babysitting job for creepy Mr. and Mrs. Ulman (cult actors Tom Noonan & Mary Woronov) even after she finds out there is no baby. They lure Sam into their home just in time for a total lunar eclipse. Cue satanic ritual stuff here. The film also stars AJ Bowen (The Signal), Greta Gerwig (Hannah Takes the Stairs, Baghead) and Dee Wallace (E.T., Rob Zombie’s Halloween). The entire film is a throwback to 80′s satanic horror–you know, the best thing ever in life?
