Bryan Fuller Returns to Heroes

claire-and-elle-slugfest-thumb With his critically lauded but ratings-impaired series Pushing Daisies dropped by ABC, Bryan Fuller will now try to prevent the same fate from befalling Heroes. Buddy TV says Fuller, who wrote some of Heroes’ episodes during its hit first season, could return as early as the 20th episode of this season.

Heroes has been in ratings freefall since that breakout first season but reportedly NBC plans to renew it. With the network’s ratings at an all-time low and its fall lineup full of disasters like My Own Worst Enemy and Crusoe, NBC has little choice.

Long ago in a TV galaxy that now seems incredibly far away, Heroes was a great show. NBC is banking that Fuller can bring it back. If that can happen there’s a small ray of sunshine in the demise of Daisies.

There are over 76000 names on a petition right now to renew Pushing daisies. I really wish Fuller would continue PD if stupid ABC comes to its senses. Check it out at

Sign it is you want pushing daisies back. Show ABC that the ratings system is broken.
