Bruce Willis, Owen Wilson in for "Three Stories About Joan"

livefreeordiehard1 The Shreveport Times is reporting that Bruce Willis will direct and star in the psychological thriller, “Three Stories About Joan.”

Owen Wilson and Kieran Culkin will also star in the film, which shoots in Shreveport from Oct. 2 through Nov. 10. Bruce’s brother, David Willis, is producing, along with Bruce, Moshe Diamant, and Mark Damon (not sure if he’s related to Matt, but I don’t think so).

According to the description on The Film Catalogue, the movie follows a young woman’s struggle “to retain her faith in a love borne out of need, destroyed by a madness, and restored by a ghost.”

More after the jump…

Willis plays her father, a guy who’s egocentric, paranoid, tender, brutal, and madly in love with her. He’s also her father. Ok, then.

This sounds like one of those off-beat films that will either work really well or fail miserably with audiences. I checked to see if Willis has done much directing, and it doesn’t look like he has. It’ll be interesting to see what kind of film he turns out.
