I was really sad to learn that Brittany Murphy died earlier today at the age of 32. She’s done a lot of films, but I mainly know her for voicing the part of Luanne on the animated series, “King of the Hill.”
Her film roles were always fresh and inspired, in comedies like “Clueless,” “Just Married” and “Little Black Book.” But she was equally compelling in dramas like “8 Mile,” “Don’t Say A Word,” “Girl Interrupted,” and “Sin City.”
She had four films in post-production and scheduled for a 2010 release, including “The Expendables,” Shrinking Charlotte,” “Something Wicked,” and “Abandoned.”
Officials are investigating her death. It’s been reported that she went into cardiac arrest this morning at her home in West Hollywood. She was married to writer and producer Simon Monjack.
Here’s a little clip of Murphy talking about the importance of faith and spirituality in her life.

It made me tear up when she Murphy was asked about God and she responded, “oh.. everything” while looking up. You are with God, now. And I’m so sorry that you were taken so soon…. I pray for your family who must miss you incredibly
